1. The Site is informational

The Site exists to help travellers learn about the trips we arrange, request a quote, and contact us. No bookings are completed on the Site. All quotes, itineraries, and bookings are confirmed off-site by phone, email, WeChat, or in person, and are governed by the booking documents (invoice, supplier terms, and any applicable supplier contracts) that we send when you confirm a trip.

2. Our role as travel agent

Tianma Travel acts as a retail travel agent. We arrange the services you book with airlines, hotels, cruise lines, local tour operators, insurance carriers, and other independent suppliers. We are accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) under TIDS 9653911.

Once a trip is confirmed, the supplier providing each service is responsible for delivering it, and the supplier's own booking conditions apply alongside ours. We will share those conditions with you before you confirm.

3. Information on the Site

We work hard to keep tour descriptions, dates, inclusions, and prices accurate, but the Site is illustrative rather than contractual. Inventory, pricing, schedules, and inclusions change frequently and are confirmed only at the time of booking. The descriptions you see here do not form part of any contract. Photographs are representative and may show destinations or experiences that are not part of every departure.

4. Inquiries and electronic communications

When you send us an inquiry, sign up for the mailing list, or contact us by email, phone, or WeChat, you consent to us replying through the same channel and using the contact details you provided to follow up about your trip. Mailing list emails are sent only with your express opt-in and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. 5. Pricing, deposits, and payments

Prices shown as "from" are starting prices available for select departures, subject to availability and quoted in the currency stated. Final pricing is confirmed in writing on your invoice and may include additional charges such as taxes, airline fuel surcharges, port fees, resort fees, single supplements, optional excursions, insurance, and visa fees. Deposits and final payment terms vary by supplier and are set out on your invoice.

6. Changes, cancellations, and refunds

Each supplier has its own change and cancellation rules. These rules govern any refund you may be entitled to and we will share them with you in writing before you confirm. Travel insurance is strongly recommended and we are happy to quote a policy alongside your trip.

7. Passports, visas, health, and documentation

You are responsible for ensuring that every traveller in your party holds a valid passport, the correct visa(s) for the destination and any transit countries, and any required vaccinations or health documents. We provide guidance and visa application assistance for the US, EU, and UK as a service, but final responsibility for entry documents rests with the traveller.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tianma Travel is not liable for losses, damages, or injuries arising from acts or omissions of independent suppliers, force majeure events (weather, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, pandemics), or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the agency service fees you paid to us for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Canadian or British Columbia law.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — copy, photographs, logos, and design — is owned by Tianma Travel or licensed to us and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, or use any content commercially without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to send spam, attempt to gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape content in bulk, impersonate others, or otherwise interfere with normal operation. We may suspend or restrict access to anyone who breaches this clause.

11. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites — suppliers, government information pages, social media, and similar. Those sites are operated by others and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from your use of the Site, subject to your statutory consumer rights.

13. Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
